Auslandsaufenthalt in Großbritannien

That was fun!
Yesterday I went to the peak district near to Sheffield. It is kind of a middle high mountain. To go there I used the bus line 242 (TM Travel) from Westernbank. A return ticket cost 4.20£. To find the timetable a pretty number of website is offering there help, f.i. http://www.derbysbus.info/ or http://www.transportdirect.info/ (you'll find more if you search for it). All of this websites have in my opinion a bad usability, especially for people outside. The whole public transport is fragmented to different companies and their tickets are not compatible in most cases. Same for the peak district: a lot of websites exist with the identical problems: high quantity, no quality, information are fragmented like hell. Anyway, the bus started 15min to late... The drive to the Fairholmes tourist center took approx. 25min.
There I was seriously in luck and got the last gents bike, a nice mountain bike. If you take a look to my pictures at at the bottom of this post, you'll see it. They charged me with 15£ for 4h and additional a deposit of 20£.
BTW: it was the first time I used a helmet.
